The Cookeville CookOff competition just keeps on building! And so does the pressure. With $10,100 in prize money at stake, you can feel the heat all over the Square.
At least three dozen teams from across the country will compete for the coveted Grand Champion title. Besides a hefty prize purse of $1,000.00, the Grand Champion of the Cookeville CookOff also claims the title of Tennessee State Champion for the Kansas City Barbeque Society! The competition that happens here does not just stay here; our Grand Champion is automatically entered in the Kansas City Barbeque Society National Invitation and eligibility for Jack Daniels Invitational drawing. Sweet!
